I'm to meet Midnight in 4 days 06/08/2008

Everything is in place for a meeting with Midnight at a downtown hotel, four days from now.

There isn't any way she can get in the room without having police officers and detectives all over her. Across the atrium, a sniper will be ready. I just have to leave the sliding door and curtains open.

Hope this sting works. I've gotten used to living.

Rogers, one of the top investigators with the department, is on disability leave after being shot in the back on duty. The unknown shooter hasn’t been caught.

The lieutenant goes to therapy daily, but he doesn’t see any improvement. He uses an online game site to escape the constant pain.

He and Midnight build a virtual relationship after she targets him. Although he shares almost all details of this life, she gives little information in return. However, Midnight becomes a substitute for large quantities of pain meds, and becomes as addictive.
